Let's Chin Up ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

1. Information We Collect

Account information: When you sign in with Apple, we receive your name and email address (or Apple's private relay email). We use this to create and identify your account.

Content you import: When you import a workout video, we process the URL and any publicly available metadata (title, thumbnail, captions, audio transcript) from that video to generate a structured exercise guide. We store the resulting exercise data in your personal library.

Usage data: We collect basic information about how you use the app, such as which exercises you import and view. We do not collect precise location data, contacts, or payment information.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account
• To import and parse workout videos into exercise guides
• To display your personal exercise library
• To improve the accuracy and quality of AI-generated exercise guides

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate Let's Chin Up:

• Supabase — authentication and database storage (Privacy Policy)
• OpenAI (Whisper) — audio transcription of imported videos (Privacy Policy)
• Anthropic (Claude) — AI analysis to generate exercise guides (Privacy Policy)
• Railway — backend infrastructure hosting (Privacy Policy)

Video content is processed transiently — audio and video files are downloaded temporarily for analysis and deleted immediately after processing. We do not permanently store raw video or audio files.

4. Data Retention

Your account data and exercise library are retained for as long as your account is active. You may delete individual exercises from your library at any time within the app. To request full account deletion, contact us at the email below.

5. Children's Privacy

Let's Chin Up is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately.

6. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including encrypted storage via Supabase and secure token-based authentication through Apple Sign In. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Withdraw consent at any time by deleting the app

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
