Need a hand with Let's Chin Up? Start here — the questions below cover the things people ask most. If yours isn't here, write to us and we'll help.
Let's Chin Up turns the workout videos you save on social media into workouts you can actually follow. Share a link from TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube to the app and we read the video's public details to build a clear, step-by-step exercise guide in your library.
From there you can:
Let's Chin Up is an iPhone app. It is made for people starting or restarting a fitness routine.
Signing in: you can sign in with Apple, using the Apple ID already on your iPhone. There is no separate password to create or remember.
Choosing to hide your email: Apple lets you hide your real address and share a private relay address instead. Either choice works — we use whichever address Apple gives us only to identify your account and to reply if you contact us.
Your name: during setup you can tell us what you'd like to be called and where you're starting from. Both are optional and both can be skipped. To see or change your answers later, open More → Profile — Start setup again walks you through those questions a second time, and leaves your library, plan and garden exactly as they are.
Signing in on another device: sign in with the same Apple ID and your library, plans, and garden come with you.
What's free and what's not: planning your week, checking workouts off, and your garden are free. A subscription raises your monthly import allowance and unlocks the extras described on the subscription screen in the app. Current prices and trial terms are always shown in the app before you're charged.
Where to manage it: open More → Plan. That screen compares the two plans, and holds both Manage subscription and Restore purchases.
Restoring a purchase: if you reinstall the app or move to a new iPhone and the app doesn't recognise your subscription, tap More → Plan → Restore purchases while signed in to the same Apple ID that bought it. You do not need to hit a paywall to reach it.
Cancelling: subscriptions are billed by Apple, so they are cancelled through Apple — More → Plan → Manage subscription, or from your iPhone's Settings under your Apple ID. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep premium until the period you've paid for runs out. Refunds are handled by Apple, at reportaproblem.apple.com.
If something still looks wrong, tell us what you bought and when, and we'll look into it.
One exercise: you can delete any exercise from your library at any time, inside the app.
Your whole account: open More → Delete Account. This permanently removes your account and your personal data. It cannot be undone, and it does not cancel an active subscription — cancel that separately through Apple (see section 3).
If you'd rather we did it for you, write to us from the email address on the account. What we keep, and for how long, is set out in our Privacy Policy.
For anything not covered above — a video that wouldn't import, a subscription that looks wrong, a question about your data, or a bug — email us. Telling us your iPhone model, your iOS version, and what you were doing when it went wrong helps us fix it faster.
